Where does Santa deliver gifts for kids from divorced families?
I grew up in a divorce family. Santa always visited me at my mom’s where I lived not at my dad‘s. Of course I still received gifts from my dad but not “Santa”. Now I am married and we have two kids. My husband also has kids from a previous marriage.So here has been my issue for the last four years. If they live with mom does Santa still leave gifts at Dad‘s too? We budget our money so that we have the same amount spent on each child whether it’s from us or santa. But the kids don’t understand that of course and I’m not sure what the right thing to do is? It’s already hard for me because his kids get gifts from Mom and Dad and our kids only get gifts from us. So is it wrong of me to spend a little more on our two because of the simple fact that the others get gifts at two places. Christmas shouldn’t be stressful but to me it is. If we had a lot of money it wouldn’t be an issue but seeing as how we are on limited income I worry. Can someone help me out with their opinions on this matter. Thanks

To avoid confusion, Santa should deliver gifts to where the child lives most of the time. All other gifts come from people. I think it’s fine to spend more money on the children that receive less presents overall, but try to have the same number of gifts for each child at your house. Children don’t know how much gifts costs, they only know how many gifts they get. If you don’t think that will work, then give just your kids more gifts on their birthday.

Christmas gift for my dad from my kids?
My kids are making their grandfather a puppy dog letter holder this year for Christmas. Their is a slit at the top to put letters in then you pull the dogs tongue down to get the letters out. I would like to put something inside of it as a little surprise for him from my kids. What would be good to stick inside a letter box? Thank You!

I know I’m so late on this but I’ve got some extra time and extra money. What should I buy my husband from the kids?
He’s 27 and works a lot. His job is restoring old hot rods and body work on new cars that have been wrecked. He likes playing frisbee golf but hasn’t lately. He likes video games.
He is by far my hardest gift recipient to buy for!
I was thinking about some coffee mugs, I know that’s pretty cheap but we own two coffee mugs and we both drink home brewed coffee every morning. Is that a good gift from kids? ANY other suggestions are gladly welcomed!

My wife bought her dad a fathers day gift from my kids…is this normal?
When it came time to give gifts to the father in law. My wife had a fathers day gift for me from my two young boys. And then she pulled out two cards and gifts for her dad. One of the gifts was from us, and the other gift was from my boys to him. It seemed kind of weird to me. Am I wrong here.

It’s not a matter of being right or wrong, it’s a sign of affection and respect. Your wife wanted to feel like your two sons picked out something special for her dad on Fathers Day. She was strengthening family ties, instead of putting up dividers. It may feel a little strange, but her father I’m guessing, is nice to your sons. Correct?
